Premiere for the First “Playmobil” Film

“Playmobil: The Film”, an epic comedy adventure, invites you into the almost limitless, imaginative Playmobil universe – in the first feature film inspired by the popular and award-winning brand.

According to the Swiss film distributor, the animation fun combines “funny and lovable characters, thrilling adventures and breathtaking landscapes in a unique and original story”. It is directed by Walt Disney veteran Lino DiSalvo, who worked at Walt Disney Animation Studios for 17 years, most recently as head of animation for the global success “Frozen”. It all goes something like this: when her younger brother Charlie disappears into the magically animated Playmobil universe, Marla must embark on the adventure of a lifetime to bring him home again. On her incredible journey through exciting worlds, she meets diverse, weird and heroic companions, including the crazy food truck owner Del, the intrepid and charming secret agent Rex Dasher, a lovable robot, a benevolent but also funny fairy, and many others. In the course of their spectacular adventure, Marla and Charlie realise that you can do anything if you just believe in yourself.
