Marvel Boss: "He Had a Cameo in 'The Avengers'"

Kevin Feige is the man who got the whole Marvel wave rolling, bringing one hit after another. With "Avengers: Infinity War", he brings together almost all the superheroes together for the fight against supervillain Thanos.

"The 'Avengers: Infinity War' story is the result of everything we've done to this point," says Marvel mastermind Kevin Feige. "It's the unprecedented culmination of a series of linked storylines, like you've never seen before." The filmmakers had to unite dozens of heroic characters in a single script, focusing on one big issue – Thanos, the biggest villain in the Marvel universe. He first appeared in Iron Man Comic No. 55 in 1973 – a powerful Titan who becomes a threat to the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy. "We've always known that we set the bar very high with Thanos", continues Feige. "He had a cameo in 'The Avengers' and even had some dialogue and a cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy'. He also had a brief appearance at the end of 'Avengers Age of Ultron'. But otherwise he was never seen in action."
