* "Avengers: Infinity War" continues the storylines of several Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie hits like "The First Avenger: Civil War" and "Thor". But "Doctor Strange" aka Benedict Cumberbatch will also make an important appearance.
* Only this much is known about the story: the Avengers and their allies have to defeat the mighty Thanos (Josh Brolin) before he puts an end to the universe with a crazed campaign of destruction.
* While director Joss Whedon (co-director of "Justice League") was responsible for the first two Avengers films, brothers Anthony Russo and Joe Russo have now taken the reins as directors.
* "Avengers 3: Infinity War" was initially announced as a two-part event movie and the sequel has in fact already been shot. Fans all over the world are still waiting for the title of "Avengers 3.2". Marvel producer Kevin Feige did not want to announce this, however, so as not to reveal in advance the direction in which the MCU is developing.
"Avengers: Infinity War" will be playing at KITAG CINEMAS from Thursday - previews will be screening on Wednesday evening.
