"Avengers: Infinity War": Meeting of the Marvel Superheroes

With "Avengers: Infinity War", the brotherly directorial duo Anthony and Joe Russo have once again created a bombastic action spectacle and a milestone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Never before has the hero and star power been greater.

With "The Return of the First Avenger" and "The First Avenger: Civil War", Anthony and Joe Russe have already shown that they are the ones to look to for visually stunning action cinema. "Avengers: Infinity War" draws its strength from a summit of superheroes. Robert Downey Jr. returns in his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man and fights again side by side with Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. They receive support from Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther and Paul Bettany as Vision, in addition to Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes and Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch. In the midst of an intergalactic struggle, they will meet Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange for the first time. In the role of power-crazed Thanos appears Hollywood star Josh Brolin ("Everest"), while Gwyneth Paltrow again makes a turn as Pepper Potts, with Benicio del Toro as The Collector.
